POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's and women's basketball program will kick off the 2018-19 season on Friday, September 7, with the annual Red Fox Club Barbecue on the Hudson. The social gathering will be held at Marist's Historic Cornell Boathouse. Red Fox Club basketball season ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with both basketball programs at a barbecue at Marist's Historic Cornell Boathouse. The event will begin at 6 p.m.
 
The cost of the barbecue is $30, and guests must indicate their intentions by Monday, Sept. 3. CLICK HERE to reserve your place online, or reserve your spot by stopping by the Marist Ticket Office with payment on Monday – Friday, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
 
The menu will feature:

• Grilled London Broil
• Grilled Chicken
• Summer Vegetable Medley
• Parmesan Dutchess Potatoes
• Pasta Salad
• Tossed Green Salad
• Assorted Desserts
• Coffee and Tea, Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks and Water

 
Red Fox Club Basketball season ticket information will be available in the coming weeks. Fans who renew their Red Fox Club Basketball season tickets by Monday, Sept. 3, will be entered into a raffle for to enjoy a game in the hospitality suite. The raffle will be drawn during the Red Fox Club Barbecue and winners need not be present to claim their prize.
 
The women's basketball non-conference schedule was released on Monday. The men's basketball team, under the leadership of first-year head coach John Dunne, will travel to Belfast in November for the Belfast Basketball Classic.
