POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist women's soccer team will face Fordham in its last away non-conference game this Friday night at 7 p.m. The Red Foxes are currently 2-2-1 overall and this will be their 5
th away game out of six games so far this season.
Marist fell to Yale 3-2 this past Sunday in New Haven. With the game tied at two with less than 10 minutes remaining, Marist could not hold off Yale as they scored a go-ahead goal in the 84
th minute. Marist recorded goals by
Keri Bradley and
Hope Quinonez.
The Rams stand at 2-5 overall with wins against Lehigh and Manhattan. Just like Marist, they also fell to Yale 1-0 in double overtime. They will finish their non-conference schedule vs. the Foxes before facing off against Richmond to begin Atlantic 10 play. The Rams last contest against Manhattan, which took place in the pouring rain featured a 2-0 victory over the Jaspers featuring goals by Sophomore Emma Johnson and Senior Clara Gastaldi. Goalie Kelly LaMorte also recorded two big saves which clinched her second shutout of the season.

The Red Foxes will close out non-conference play with a home match against Army West Point on Wednesday, September 19 home at Tenney Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
