POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Red Foxes return home against Fairfield for a match-up of two unbeaten MAAC teams. The match is slated for a 7:00 pm start time.

In its previous matchup, the Marist women's volleyball team came away with the 3-1 win against Siena College, extending its winning streak to three also marking it the third consecutive win in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play this season.
Nikki DeSerpa led the way with 15 Kills followed by
Sarah Austin and
Megan Fergus with 12.
Stephanie Stone lead the team with four blocks followed by Fergus with three.

Fairfield University is 5-8 right now and is riding a four game winning streak. All four wins have been in MAAC play. Their last win came on September 23
rd when they beat Iona College at home 3-1. Jamie Smith lead the team with 15 kills followed by Claire Archibald with 12. On the defensive side Mia Bonsignore and Karla Johnson both had four blocks. Fairfield is also ridding a 55 conference play win streak that dates back to 2015. Its last loss in MAAC play came on October 18
th against Iona College when they lost 3-2.

The Red Foxes currently lead the MAAC in blocks with an average of 1.99 per game. Individually,
Stephanie Stone leads the MAAC with .95 blocks per set.

Wednesday's game will be a Pride Game in honor of National Ally Week. Spectators who sign a fan pledge will receive a rainbow ribbon to wear during the match.

The Red Foxes will travel to New Jersey this weekend, playing Saint Peter's on Saturday September 29
th and Rider on Sunday September 30
th. Both matches are scheduled for 1:00 pm.
