CHESTNUT HILL, Boston – Marist men's swimming and diving was edged by Boston College at Flynn Complex pool Saturday afternoon 169-129. With the loss, the Red Foxes sit at 7-3 overall.
- Junior Raislan Aiken won the 1-and 3-meter dives with scores of 301.80 and 263.10. This caps off a perfect week for Aiken who won all four diving events entered for the week.
- Senior Daniel Knoll won both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle with times of 21.29 and 46.25. Like Aiken, Knoll won all individual events entered in dual meets for the week.
- Sophomore John Hurley picked up a win in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:53.36. Junior Michael O'Donovan finished six seconds behind him for a second place finish.
- Freshman Ryan Kaplan had another successful day, finishing first in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:55.60.
- Senior Miguel Madeira picked up the win in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.89.
The Red Foxes will host their last home meet of the season against Southern Connecticut State at McCann Natatorium on Saturday, January 19 at 1 p.m. Prior to the start of the meet, Marist will honor its seniors.
