Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts – Marist women's tennis fell to Harvard 5-2 Sunday afternoon at the Murr Center Courts. The Red Foxes sit at 1-2 overall for the season.
Marist had a strong individual showing from
Chloe Lant and
Sophia Chavarria, who each picked up singles victories on the day. Playing in the fourth spot, Lant was forced into the tie breaker set but took down Annika Bassey 6-2, 1-6, 1-0(7). Chavarria picked up the other Red Fox victory of the day, defeating Jenna Moustafa 6-1, 6-4.
The Red Foxes will stay a little closer to home and take on St. Johns Friday, February 1. The match is slated to start at 12:00 PM.
