EDISON, New Jersey – Marist sophomore Esabelle Gervasio was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Diver of the Week. This is the third time in a row Gervasio has earned the award and fifth time all season. A female Marist diver has won this award a total of seven times this season.
 
Gervasio won the 1- and 3-meter against Bryant with scores of 246.37 and 262.05. The sophomore has yet to lose an event in 2019 and has only lost two events all season, both of which were to fellow Red Foxes.
 
Swimming and Diving is in the midst of preparing for MAAC Championships. The championships will be held February 13-16 at the Burt Flickinger center at Erie Community College in Buffalo, New York.
