POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist University's Gabrielle Norton was named Jersey Mike's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Diver of the Week on Wednesday.
 
Norton won both 1-meter and 3-meter diving in Marist's victory over Canisius on Saturday at McCann Natatorium. She posted a score of 231.00 in one-meter, and she had a 225.68 mark in three-meter.
 
A sophomore, Norton is a native of Albany who is in her first year in the program. She competed last season at UNC Wilmington.
 
Marist swimming & diving returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Fairfield. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
