POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team (5-8 overall, 0-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) returns to action on Tuesday night, when the Red Foxes host Manhattan (3-11, 1-1) at McCann Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

- Marist dropped its MAAC opener against Canisius by a score of 75-72 on Thursday, Jan. 3 at McCann Arena.
- Senior forward Isaiah Lamb had a season-high 21 points, and tied his career high with nine rebounds.
- Senior guard Brian Parker added 19 points.
- The game included six lead changes and eight ties.
- Canisius grabbed 16 offensive rebounds, the highest total against the Red Foxes this season.
- The Jaspers are coming off a 90-80 victory in their last outing against Niagara on Saturday, Jan. 5.
- Samir Stewart came off the bench to score 22 points in 20 minutes. Stewart shot 6-for-6 from the field, 5-for-5 from three-point range, and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.
- On the season, Pauly Paulicap leads the Jaspers with 8.8 points per game, and Ebube Ebube has a team-best 5.2 rebounds per game.
- Head coach Steve Masiello, who won MAAC titles in 2014 & 2015, is in his eighth season.
- All four Marist-Manhattan games over the last two seasons have been decided by five points or less, with each team winning twice.

- Marist leads the MAAC in three-point percentage defense (.356).
