POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Marist Athletics Department announced the 2019-20 men's and women's basketball promotions schedule on XXX. Fans will have opportunities to meet student-athletes, enjoy sponsored games and receive ticket discounts for select groups for chosen contests.
 
Single game bench seats are on sale now for all 28 games at McCann Arena. Season tickets sales are ongoing as well. The Marist men will host Hartford in its home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 12, and the women will open their home slate on Wednesday, Nov. 13, when Albany comes to Poughkeepsie.
 
In addition to the promotions listed below, the Marist Athletics Department will recognize its men's lacrosse and women's rowing teams at halftime of games on Nov. 23, and Feb. 1, respectively. Each team won a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship in 2019, and will receive their championship rings at these games.
 

HUDSON VALLEY FRESH MILK & COOKIES NIGHT

• Saturday, Dec. 7 – Women's basketball vs. Princeton
• Hudson Valley Fresh will provide free milk and Sodexo Dining services will provide cookies to the first 1,000 fans who enter McCann Arena.

BSN SPORTS AUTOGRAPH NIGHT

• Friday, Feb. 21 – Men's basketball vs. Monmouth
• The Marist men's basketball team will sign autographs for all fans in attendance following its contest with Monmouth.
• BSN Sports will provide mini autograph basketballs to the first 200 children ages 12 and under in attendance. Fans will receive a voucher upon entry and redeem the voucher for a mini basketball after the game.

JUNIOR HOOPS CLUB PIZZA PARTY

• The Junior Hoop Club, the official kids club of Marist basketball, will host its annual pizza parties on Friday, Jan. 3, for men's members, and Saturday, Feb. 1, for women's members.
• Members can spend time with student-athletes and enjoy pizza together.

CYO NIGHTS

• Saturday, Jan. 4 – Women's basketball vs. Saint Peter's
• The Marist women's basketball team will host CYO Night and Kids Night Out. All children in attendance who wear their CYO Jersey will be admitted for FREE. The Marist women's basketball team will sign autographs for all fans in attendance following the game.

PLAY4KAY

• Saturday, Feb. 8 – Women's basketball vs. Manhattan
• Marist will team with Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation to fight to end breast cancer. The duo will honor breast cancer survivors at halftime with the annual Survivor Salute.
• The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE pink t-shirt, that will be designed by a Marist Fashion student.

WALKWAY OVER THE HUDSON DAY

• Sunday, Jan. 19 – Men's basketball vs. Iona
• The Walkway Over the Hudson, the world's longest elevated pedestrian walkway, will come to McCann Arena. Walkway members will be provided a discount code for $5 bench seats on the day of the game.

FACULTY/STAFF APPRECIATION NIGHTS

• To show its gratitude to Marist Faculty and Staff, the Marist Athletics Department will host faculty and staff appreciation nights on Thursday, Jan. 16, when the women's basketball team hosts Rider, and Wednesday, Jan. 22, when the men's basketball team hosts Manhattan.

RED FOX CLUB RAFFLE DRAWING

• Thursday, March 5 – Women's basketball vs. Iona
• The Red Fox Club, the official booster club of Marist Athletics, will draw the winners of its annual $10,000 raffle at halftime of this contest. First prize is $10,000, second prize is a Caribbean Cruise for two and third prize is $1,000.

• Send the men's and women's basketball seniors out with a bang!
