POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball returns to McCann Arena for the first of two straight home games on Saturday night, when the Red Foxes (1-2) host The Citadel (1-4). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The Red Fox Network caught up with junior forward
Zion Tordoff on his journey to Marist. Tordoff, a native of England, is in his first season with the Red Foxes. He played the last two years at Casper College in Wyoming. Please click on the attached video for more.
- Marist was defeated at Fordham, 58-41, on Saturday, Nov. 16.
- Matt Turner led the Red Foxes with 10 points, and Jordan Jones had a team-best six rebounds.
- Marist held Fordham to .388 (19-for-49) shooting from the field, but the Red Foxes shot just .269 (14-for-52) themselves.
- The Citadel is closing out a three games in five days road trip.
- In their first two games on the trip, the Bulldogs defeated Southeast Missouri, 74-69, but fell at Illinois, 85-57.
- The Citadel was picked ninth in the Southern Conference preseason media & coaches' polls.
- Last season, the Bulldogs were second in the NCAA in three-pointers per game, and fourth in scoring average.
- Head coach Duggar Baucom is in his fifth season.
- Marist is 1-0 vs. The Citadel all-time. Marist won the first meeting, 100-91, on Dec. 1, 2017 at The Citadel. The Red Foxes erased a 20-point deficit in the second half to prevail.
- This is The Citadel's first trip to Marist.
- Through Nov. 21, Marist ranks in the NCAA's top 50 in turnovers per game (26th, 10.7), scoring defense (36th, 58.7), and fouls per game (44th, 14.3).
- Marist has committed fewer turnovers than its opponent in all three games, and the Red Foxes have not committed more than 12 turnovers in a game.
- Neither team has scored more than 62 points in any of Marist's first three games.
- The Red Foxes face Hudson Valley foe Army West Point on Saturday, Nov. 30 at McCann Arena.
