POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist baseball schedule has been announced for the 2020 season, beginning in February.
 

OPENING SLATE

• The Red Foxes begin their season with a tour of the East Coast, playing in series at South Florida, George Washington, Liberty, and Florida Gulf Coast.
• Marist will play in a tournament at East Tennessee State the weekend of March 6, and will face the hosts as well as Wagner and Ohio.

MAAC SEASON

• Marist starts conference play at Niagara on March 21, and the following week hosts Fairfield.
• The team breaks from conference play for a home-and-home series against UMass, and then returns to the MAAC every weekend for the remainder of the season to play Manhattan, Iona, Canisius, Quinnipiac, Rider and Saint Peter's.

WEEKDAY GAMES

• In between the weekend series, the Red Foxes host weekday battles with non-conference opponents such as UMass Lowell, Albany, Hartford, Binghamton and Holy Cross.
• Marist will travel to play Florida Atlantic, Army and St. John's, and has a rematch at Albany on May 6.

Marist baseball went 27-26 overall in 2019 and earned a berth to the MAAC Championships as well as five All-MAAC honorees. The program is going into its 11th season with head coach Chris Tracz at the helm.
