Women’s Lacrosse Falls To Army West Point In Season Opener

Mehalick, Connolly Score Three Times Apiece For Red Foxes

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's lacrosse team dropped its season opener to Army West Point (2-0) by a score of 18-9 on Wednesday at Tenney Stadium.

  • After a scoreless 14:37 to start the contest, sophomore Camille Renaud got the Red Foxes on the scoreboard first.
  • Army West Point's Cameron Manor tied the score 31 seconds later, which began a run of four straight goals for the Black Knights.
