Box Score EASTON, Pennsylvania –Marist women's tennis started its weekend off right, earning a 5-2 win against Lafayette Friday afternoon at the Northwood Racquet Court. Marist moves into 4-5 on the season.
 
The Red Foxes played excellent singles tennis, winning five out of six singles matches. Julia Gabay had another strong day in the number win singles spot, posting a 6-4, 7-5 win over Cecelia Lesnick. Freshman Madison Price continued stellar play in the second singles spot with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Samantha Snyder.
 
Sophia Moeller and Jade Tijani posted Marist's only win in doubles tennis. The duo edged out McCormack and Alex Cookie, 7-6.

Marist will stay at the Northwood Racquet Court and face Bucknell tomorrow at 1 PM.
