Box Score SYRACUSE, New York – Women's tennis swept Colgate 7-0 at Drumlins Country Club for its first win of 2019. The Red Foxes move into 2-4 overall on the season.
 
The duo of Julia Gabay and Sam Galu started things off hot for the Red Foxes in doubles play and posted a 6-0 win in the one spot against O'Brien/Kiani. Sophia Moeller and Jada Tijani followed up with a 6-3 win over Deeter/Williams in the second spot. Chloe Lant and Sophie Chavarria finished doubles play with a 6-4 win over Condas/Bartimer.
 
The Red Foxes had a great showing in singles action as well. Madison Price posted the first singles win in the two spot for the Red Foxes, outlasting O'Brien 6-2, 6-2. Chloe Lant had the toughest match of the day but prevailed over Kiani 7-6, 7-6.
 

UP NEXT

Marist will host UMass for its first home meet of the season. The meet will take place at Cross Court in Wappinggers Falls and will start at 4:15 pm.
