GREENSBORO, North Carolina - Marist baseball (6-11) led wire-to-wire over North Carolina A&T (10-9) to win 7-1 and take the series.
Frankie Gregoire hit his 26th career home run to become the all-time leader in Marist history, while
Alex Pansini was efficient on the mound for the entire nine innings.

- Robbie Armitage started off the scoring for the Red Foxes with an RBI-single in the second inning to drive home Matt Rubayo.
- Gregoire knocked the ball out of the park in the third for a two-run homer, sending home Tyler Kapuscinski as well.Â
- Alex Pansini put on a masterful pitching display, retiring the side in order in the third, fourth and sixth innings.
- Neither teams scored again until the Aggies' AJ Hunt tallied a run in the eighth.
- Reece Armitage hit a sacrifice-bunt to score Gene Napolitano in the ninth.
- Anthony Lazar reached home on an error to propel Marist to a 7-1 lead.
- The Aggies had two players reach base in the bottom of the ninth, but the Red Foxes completed a double-play to end the game with the win.
- Frankie Gregoire surpassed Keith Brachold's program record of 25 career-homers that was set in 2005. It was his second of the season.
- Pansini tossed the first complete game of his career. The sophomore struck out a career-high eight batters, scattered six hits and allowed just one run in 9.0 innings.
- Robbie Armitage, Tyler Kapuscinski and Gregoire each tallied two hits at the plate.
- Gregoire collected four RBI, and now sits ninth all-time at Marist with 128 in his career.
- Robbie Armitage leads the team with a batting average of .344, having recorded 21 hits and nine RBI.
- Gene Napolitano's 14 RBI are a team-high.
- Pansini has an ERA of 3.21 over 28.0 innings with 21 strikeouts. He has held opposing batters to an average of .236.
