POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist fell to Quinnipiac 6-1 at home Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes fall to 3-2 in conference play.
The Red Foxes picked up their only point of the day from doubles.
Sophia Chavarria and
Chloe Lant picked up a 6-3 win from the third doubles spot and
Julia Gabay and
Sam Galu won a 7-5 nail biter in the first doubles spot.
While Marist did not win any singles, the Red Foxes pushed Quinnipiac in several matches.
Julia Gabay won the first set against defending MAAC player of the year Dominique Vasile before falling 4-6, 7-6, 10-5.
Chloe Lant also won her first set from the four singles before being defeated 6-7, 6-4, 10-6.

Marist will play its final regular season match at home on Tuesday, April 16 at 3 pm against Rider. Prior to the match, Marist will honor its seniors.
