Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's tennis team swept Rider, 7-0, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match on Tuesday at the Marist Tennis Pavilion. With the victory, the Red Foxes clinched in a berth in the MAAC Championships.
The Red Foxes started the match by prevailing at first and second doubles, and winning third doubles by default, to earn the doubles point. In singles,
Julia Gabay,
Madison Price, and
Chloe Lant won in straight sets.
Sophia Moeller won her match in third singles in a third-set tiebreaker. The Red Foxes prevailed in the fifth and sixth spots by default.
Prior to the match, Lant & Moeller were honored in a Senior Day ceremony.
