VESTAL, New York - Marist Baseball (14-19, 5-4 MAAC) looks to bounce back after losing a series against Canisius with a midweek game at Binghamton (14-4, 4-4 America East) on Wednesday, April 17 at 4 p.m.

- Marist dropped a weekend series to Canisius 2-1, losing the final game of the series 8-6.
- Tyler Kapuscinski was 3-for-5 in the series finale with a home run, a double, two runs scored and one RBI
- Frankie Gregoire was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and three RBIs.
- Reece Armitage and Niko Amory both had two hits and an RBI each.
- Tony Romanelli threw a complete game in the second game of the series, allowing six hits and one earned run with two walks and seven strikeouts. Romanelli now has three complete games on the season, tied for fourth in the NCAA.
- Binghamton is coming off of a 2-1 series loss against Stony Brook.
- Shane Marshall is second on the team in average (.330), first in hits (38) and first in RBIs (21).
- Luke Dziados is expected to make his fifth start of the season and appear in his seventh game. The sophomore has an ERA of 3.93 over 18.1 innings with 14 strikeouts and 10 walks.
- Marist leads the MAACÂ in batting average (.280), slugging percentage (.407), hits (319) and home runs (27).
- The Red Foxes rank 42nd nationally in stolen bases per game (1.7), and 48th in total stolen bases (56).
- Frankie Gregoire leads the MAAC and is 44th in the NCAA in home runs (nine) and 53rd in homers per game (0.27). He sits at second in the conference in RBIs (31).
- In the MAAC, Robbie Armitage is fifth in hits (41), third in RBIs (28), third in homers (six) and third in total bases (66).
- Anthony Lazar also appears in the conference rankings at second in runs scored (31), second in hits (47) and third in total bases (66).
Marist will play a three-game series against current MAAC-leaders Manhattan (14-21, 7-2 MAAC) at Dutchess Stadium on April 19-20.
