POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist dropped its final home contest to Siena 18-10 Wednesday afternoon. The Red Foxes were able to make it close to start the second half, but Siena used a couple of scoring runs to take control of the game. Marist drops to 6-9 overall and 3-4 in the conference.

- The game started as a back and forth affair, trading goals throughout the first seven minutes. Siena went on a 5-0 run to go up 7-4 with 14:03 left in the game. Kelly George found the back of the net with 10:32 left to stop the run. Siena and Marist exchanged goals three more times with Siena taking a 9-5 lead into the locker room.
- Samantha Mehalick and Hailey Wagner scored unassisted goals to put Marist within two in the second half and force a Siena timeout. But another 5-0 run put Siena up 14-7 with 14:18 remaining in the game. Marist tallied two more goals within under a minute's time but the Saints continued to build upon their lead and close out the game with four more goals.
- Wagner and Mehalick each record three points. Mehalick scored a hat trick and Wagner had a goal and two assists.
- Wagner had a game high 14 draw controls.
- Siena edged Marist in shots on goal 30-20.
- Kaitlyn Dowsett had five goals with two assists for a game high seven points.
Marist will wrap up its regular season at Iona on April 20 at 1:00 PM.
