WEST LONG BRANCH, New Jersey - Marist baseball (13-16, 4-2 MAAC) won the Sunday finale to sweep the series at Monmouth (11-17-1, 2-4 MAAC). Anthony Lazar hit his third homer in two games, and Ryan Cardona closed out the game with 3.2 innings of relief.

If you're going to be good you have to win on the road, and win against quality opponents. We were on the right side of this one, so we'll go home for a bit and then move on to the next one."
