POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist women's track and field and cross country programs have announced the addition of 18 total newcomers to the squads. The Red Foxes joining the teams hail from five different states and bring a wealth of talent to add to Marist's overall depth. 

"We are really excited about our this year's freshman class. It represents the largest incoming class in program history as we bring in 18 women to the cross country and track and field programs," announced associate head coach Chuck Williams. "We have added some really talented middle distance and long distance runners that will strengthen our team in that area, but we are even more excited about the eight sprinters coming to the program. As we build up that event group, we're looking forward to what this group brings and how they will help us now and in the future.

Isabella Azar-Brandes (Southbury, CT) is a sprinter and hurdler from Pomperaug high school. She has personal records of 15.85 in the 100m hurdles and 46.02 in the 300m hurdles.
 
Anne Bekasi (Meriden, CT) is a sprinter and jumper from Maloney high school. She boasts personal bests of 13.64 in the 100m, 28.28 in the 200m and 5'0.25" in the high jump.
 
Sydney Bradle (Budd Lake, NJ) is a distance runner from Mount Olive. She has run times of 2:29.69 in the 800m, 5:11.47 in the 1600m and 11:15.02 in the 3200m.
 
Juliana Fame (Branchburg, NJ) is a middle distance runner from Mount St. Mary's. She has personal bests of 2:16.51 in the 800m and 5:27.39 in the 1600m.
 
Gianna Ferrara (Glen Head, NY) is a sprinter from Locust Valley. She has run 13.14 in the 100m and jumped 15'9.75" in the long jump.
 
Sinead Heaney (Plainview, NY) is a distance runner from Plainview Old Bethpage. She has personal bests of 3:16.39 in the 1000m and 5:26.54 in the mile.
 
Sara Leavens (Avon, CT) is a transfer student from Hofstra. She has personal bests of 5:31.20 in the 1600m and 19:08.68 in the 5000m.
 
Caitlin McCann (Syosset, NY) is a middle distance runner from Syosset. She has run 2:24.93 in the 800m and 4:58.25 in the 1500m.
 
Daniella Meyer (Farmingville, NY) is a sprinter and hurdler from Sachem East. She comes in with personal bests of 28.85 in the 200m and 18.44 in the 100m hurdles.
 
MacKenzie Mitchell (Canastota, NY) is a middle distance runner from Canatosta. She has personal records of 1:04.11 in the 400m and 3:23.63 in the 1000m.
 
Alyssa Ridgway (Hyde Park, NY) is a sprinter from FDR. She has personal bests of 13.04 in the 100m, 27.95 in the 200m and 15'10.25" in the long jump.
 
Gina Ruotolo (West Nyack, NY) is a distance runner from Clarkstown South. She has personal records of 2:25.96 in the 800m and 5:32.03 in the mile.
 
Greta Stuckey (Bethlehem, PA) is a distance runner from Liberty. She has personal bests of 1:00.24 in the 400m, 2:17.54 in the 800m and 5:22.60 in the 1600m.
 
Kathryn Tenney (Albany, NY) is a distance runner from Colonie. She has run 2:17.65 in the 800m and 4:47.33 in the 1500m.
