EDISON, New Jersey – For the 18
th year in a row, Marist College has earned the highest number of recipients for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced on Wednesday morning. A total of 262 Red Fox student-athletes were named to the 2018-19 MAAC Academic Honor Roll.

The 262 student-athletes represent 21 of Marist's 23 varsity programs, excluding football and men's rowing. For football, Marist placed a school-record 57 student-athletes on the PFL Academic Honor Roll. Four men's rowers were named to the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) 2019 All-Academic Team.

Marist's honorees represented…
- 64 percent of eligible student-athletes
- 24 different states, including: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington
- Eight different countries, including: United States, Canada, Denmark, England, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Sweden

To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. All 23 conference-sponsored sports are represented.

A conference-record 2,478 student-athletes have been named to the 2018-19 MAAC Academic Honor Roll. The total number of student-athletes named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll has increased each year since 2006-07.
