POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team was picked to finish in the Pioneer Football League (PFL) Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The 2019 season marks the Red Foxes' 11
th in the PFL. In eight of Marist's first 10 seasons in the league, the team has finished better than or equal to its preseason projection. The Red Foxes won a share of the PFL championship in 2013.

Last season, the Red Foxes finished tied for fourth in the PFL with a 5-3 league mark. Marist returns 12 starters this season (eight offensive, four defensive.)
