POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team plays the last of its three straight home games on Saturday as Pioneer Football League play resumes for the Red Foxes (1-2 overall, 1-0 PFL) against Drake (0-3, 0-0). The game is part of Family Weekend, and will kick off at 1 p.m.

- On Wednesday, safety Andrew McElroy was named a national semifinalist for the prestigious Campbell Trophy.
- In his last eight games dating back to last season, wide receiver Anthony Olivencia has 45 receptions for 817 yards and four touchdowns.
- Marist has five plays of at least 45 yards from scrimmage in its last two games.
- Marist is in its 11th season in the PFL, and has a 42-39 in PFL play.
- The last two meetings between Marist and Drake have been decided by a total of eight points, with neither team scoring 20 points in either game.

- The Bulldogs' losses have come to North Dakota (currently ranked #25 in the FCS Coaches' Poll), Truman State (receiving votes in the Division II Coaches' Poll), and South Dakota State (ranked #3 in both major FCS polls).
- Todd Stepsis is in his first season as Drake's coach, but he had served as the program's defensive coordinator for the previous five season.
- Four Bulldogs earned Preseason All-PFL honors (WR Steven Doran, DL Gavin Dineen, DL Erin Morgan, and DB Will Warner).
- Warner intercepted three passes in Drake's 13-10 victory over Marist last season.
- Drake has finished 7-4 overall each of the last three seasons.
