POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball will host Rider in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Sunday at McCann Arena. The second meeting of the season between the Red Foxes and Broncs will tip off at 2 p.m.

Matt Herasme, who has assumed a leadership role this season. In addition to strong work on the defensive end, Herasme has established himself as one of the Red Foxes' top scoring threats this season. He leads the team in three-point percentage, and is second in three-pointers made.
- Marist won at Fairfield on Wednesday, Jan. 8 by a score of 70-58. It was the Red Foxes' first road win over the Stags since 2007.
- Tyler Saint-Furcy scored a career-high 17 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field and a 4-for-5 performance from three-point range.
- Tyler Sagl scored 13 points and drained four three-pointers.
- Michael Cubbage added 11 points and tied his career high with eight rebounds.
- Tobias Sjoberg had season highs of seven rebounds and three blocked shots plus four points.
- Rider dropped its second straight with a 69-66 home loss to Iona on Friday, Jan. 10.
- Four Broncs average at least 12.6 points per game, led by Frederick Scott at 13.6.
- Rider leads the MAAC in scoring (73.2 ppg), rebounding (40.2 rpg), and rebounding margin (+5.9).
- The Broncs were picked to finish second in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Head coach Kevin Baggett is in eighth season leading the program.
- Rider leads the series, 36-24.
- With his 100th MAAC regular-season win on Jan. 8 at Fairfield, John Dunne joined Joe Mihalich (166), Jimmy Patsos (132), and Tim Cluess (125) in the century club.
- In his last four games, Matt Herasme is averaging 12.3 points and shooting .548 (17-for-31) from the field while hitting at least half his shots in all of them.
- Tyler Saint-Furcy has a steal in seven straight games, and has nine thefts in the last three games.
- Marist's freshman class scored 40 of the team's 70 points at Fairfield on Jan. 8, and has accounted for 31% of the team's points this season.
- Marist heads back to the road and faces Monmouth on Thursday, Jan. 16.
