POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist Athletics Department and Division of Student Affairs revealed the renovated and expanded McCann Center to the student body on Tuesday afternoon. The event concluded a period of construction which lasted approximately 18 months. This facility will provide students the opportunity to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, while complementing a strong academic experience.

The event included comments from student leadership, student-athletes, club sport and intramural participants, and Marist College President Dr. Dennis J. Murray and Director of Athletics and Recreation Tim Murray. In addition to the program, t-shirts were given out, Marist Dining Services provided product samples, and appearances were made by the Marist Band, Cheerleaders, and Dance Team.
