POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist swimming and diving team returns to Poughkeepsie for the first time in just over two months, for a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference dual meet against the Bryant Bulldogs on Saturday, January 25 at 11 a.m. Senior day ceremonies will take place prior to the meet, and will be honoring seven seniors who have had a significant impact on the program throughout their four-year careers. This is Marist's final dual meet of the regular season, so both teams will look to finish strong and head into the MAAC Championships with some momentum.

- The Red Fox Network sits down with the seniors and talks about how much this program has meant to them over the past four years, and how they are feeling ahead of their big day.
- The seven seniors in the 2019-20 senior class, Raislan Aiken, David Gallino, Preston DeMarco, Michael O'Donovan, Jessica Miller, Julia Solin, and Juliet Nowak, have made a significant impact on the program throughout their time as Red Foxes.
- The class has been in contention for a MAAC Championship throughout each of the past four seasons. The men have placed second twice and third once in the postseason, while the women have come in second place the last two years, following a MAAC Championship title in 2017.
- Combined, they have won 61 dual meets throughout their careers.

- The men's swimming & diving toppled non-conference foe Southern Connecticut State by a score of 193.5-104.5 on Friday, January 17. This was the fourth straight dual meet victory for the men's team, who remains undefeated in dual meets over the past two months.
- The women's swimming & diving team also competed against the Owls on Friday, January 17, and were victorious by a score of 187-107.
- Adam Kapusta was once again the star of the men's side, following up last week's award-worthy performance with another outstanding day today. He started things off for the men by winning the 1000-yard free with a time of 9:39.59. He then showed his versatility by securing first in the 200-yard back (1:53.19), as well as the 400-yard IM (4:09.38).
- Murray Coueslant had a solid all-around performance in today's meet, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 200-yard free (1:43.91). He also muscled up second place finishes in the 200-yard butterfly and the 100-yard butterfly.
- Emma Butzler also had a fantastic meet, winning two individual events for Marist. She first won the 200-yard free with a time of 1:59.03, and then went on to win the 100-yard free with a time of 55.22.
- Grace Reeves swept both diving events, scoring 233.63 points in the 3-meter dive, and then scoring 169.20 in the 1-meter dive.

Bryant's men's team is 4-4 so far this season. The Owls are coming into Saturday's meet a little cold, having lost their last 3 meets, most recently losing to Rider last weekend. Matthew Mays is a name to watch for Bryant, as he reset school records in the 100-yard and 200-yard back, and is a key cog in the 400-yard free relay an the 400-yard medley relay.

Bryant's women's team is 6-3 overall on the year, and 3-0 in their last three meets. The Owls have not won both ends of a dual meet since October 26
th against Iona. Last time out, Bryant defeated Rider 159-122. A name to watch for the Bulldogs is Heather Wong, who dominated the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke as well as her leg in the 200-yard medley relay in her last meet.

The Red Foxes will head into the MAAC Championships in Buffalo, NY for a four-day competition. Beginning on February 12. The 14-team tournament will begin at 6 p.m.
