POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Senior Dane Dillenback of the Marist University men's swimming & diving team was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Dillenback is a leader for Marist men's swimming & diving in and out of the pool. He is a Biomedical Sciences major who has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team each of the last three years. He is also a multi-year member of Marist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

Dillenback was part of Marist's MAAC championship team in 2024. He has contributed in multiple events throughout his career, finding success in sprints and on multiple relay teams. On this season's Senior Night against Binghamton on Jan. 24, Dillenback was part of two winning relays: the 400-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay.

Dillenback is the fourth Marist student-athlete to earn this award this season, following Sarah Bumstead (volleyball), Jadin Collins-Roberts (men's basketball), and Jackie Piddock (women's basketball).

Marist opens competition in this year's MAAC Swimming & DIving Championships today.
