Women’s Basketball Squares Off With Fairfield

Both Teams Have 13 Combined Wins In MAAC Play

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Holding a one-game lead on its next opponent, second-place Marist Women's Basketball visits third-place Fairfield at Alumni Hall on Thursday, January 30 at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
  • Fueled by a 16-0 second-half run while holding Monmouth without a field goal for over 10 minutes, the Red Foxes defeated the Hawks 74-53 on January 25 in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
  • After the game was tied at 30 at halftime, Marist outscored Monmouth 44-23 in the final 20 minutes.
  • Alana Gilmer led Marist with 16 points, while Willow Duffell notched a season-high 14 points on 7-13 shooting.
