POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will have seven Executive Board members for the 2020-21 school year.
 
The Executive Board members will serve as chairpersons of subcommittees within the organization. Those are listed below:
 

• Murray Coueslant, men's swimming & diving – President (overall)
• Joe Tierney, men's lacrosse – Athletics
• Sarah Austin, volleyball – Leadership
• Dwayne Menders, football – Events/Fundraising
• Kendall Krick, women's basketball – Community Service/Outreach
• McKenna Klineyoung, women's rowing – Inclusion/Advocacy
• Jack Sequerth, men's tennis - Communications

 
Coueslant, Tierney, and Austin are returning board members from last year.
 
Earlier this semester, SAAC welcomed 14 new members for this year.
 
The mission of SAAC is to serve as a vehicle to promote communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes at Marist by providing a student-athlete voice within the department, discussing issues and concerns, and providing feedback as necessary.
