POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Jillian Colucci of women's soccer and John Oxner of men's tennis have been named November's Student-Athletes of the Month by Marist's Center for Student-Athlete Enhancement (CSAE).
 
Colucci is a senior from Port Jefferson, New York. She has been named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District each of the previous two years, and is a two-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team selection. On campus, Colucci is a member of Ladies Empowering Athletic Programs (LEAP) and Peer Mentor Program. She has volunteered at Vassar Warner Senior Home, and taken part in Hudson Valley New Teacher Institute. Colucci is a Mathematics/Adolescent Education major who has been named to the Dean's List in all six of her previous semesters. On the pitch, Colucci is a two-year starter who was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team as a freshman, and the conference's All-Tournament Team as a sophomore.
 
Oxner is a senior from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a Business Administration (Finance) and Economics major who is a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection. Oxner is a member of Marist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and has been named to the Dean's List in all four of his previous semesters on campus. He has served as a student analyst at Greystone Equity Fund, and has certifications for Bloomberg Market Concepts and Securities Industry Essentials. He has also worked as assistant tennis pro at The Waegwoltic Club in his hometown. On the court, Oxner serves as team captain. He has compiled a 31-20 singles record and 25-15 mark in doubles. Oxner transferred to Marist after beginning his collegiate career at Saint Peter's, where he spent the 2017-18 school year.
