RIVERDALE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team was defeated at Manhattan, 65-56, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game at Draddy Gymnasium on Wednesday night.

Braden Bell led all scorers with 20 points.
- Manhattan scored the game's first 11 points.
- A 7-0 Marist run brought the Red Foxes to within 17-14 at the 11:44 mark.
- Tyler Saint-Furcy's steal and subsequent dunk brought the Red Foxes to with one at 21-20 at the 6:33 mark of the first half, but the Jaspers answered with a 7-0 run.
- In the final minute of the first half, Samir Stewart was fouled shooting a three and drained all three free throws, and Tykei Greene drained a three-pointer. As a result, Manhattan took its largest lead of the first half (12, at 34-22) to the locker room.
- With 12:15 to play, Stewart's three-pointer extended Manhattan's lead to 46-30, its largest of the game.
- Marist answered with a 12-1 run, as the Red Foxes held the Jaspers without a field goal for 4:46. A Matt Herasme three-pointer cut Marist's deficit to five with 8:04 to play.
- Manhattan then scored five straight points to re-claim a double-digit lead. Marist cut it to a two-possession game on a dunk by Jordan Jones with 1:25 remaining, but would not come closer.
- Bell's 20 points came in 37 minutes off the bench. He shot 8-for-17 from the field, and drained all three of his free throw attempts.
- Saint-Furcy gave the Red Foxes two double-digit scorers with 11 points. He also had steals, two rebounds, and two assists.
- Michael Cubbage finished with seven points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.
- Pauly Paulicap paced Manhattan with 16 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
- Manhattan shot .511 (23-for-45) for the game.
- Marist shot .465 (20-for-43) from the field. The Red Foxes shot .381 (8-for-23) in the first half, and .545 (12-for-22) in the second half.
- Bell became the fourth Red Fox to score 20 points in a game this season, following Herasme (20 vs. Quinnipiac, Jan. 3), Tyler Sagl (23 vs. Manhattan, Jan. 22), and Saint-Furcy (20 at Iona, Feb. 16).
- In Marist's games against Manhattan this season, Cubbage did not play for a total of 41 seconds.
- Marist shot 6-for-16 from three-point range, while Manhattan was 4-for-16. This makes nine straight games in which the Red Foxes have drained more threes than their opponent. In this span, the opposition is shooting .246 (42-for-171) from deep.
- Marist is 7-19 overall, and 6-11 in the MAAC.
- Manhattan is 12-14 overall, and 8-9 in conference play.
