Grace Vander Weide garnered All-MAAC accolades from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) on Monday morning. Senior guard

Alana Gilmer were designated unanimous All-MAAC First Team members, while redshirt senior guard
Grace Vander Weide was selected for the All-MAAC Second Team.
Hand becomes the first Red Fox to be named to the All-MAAC First Team in three consecutive seasons since Rachele Fitz did so from 2007-08 to 2009-10. Gilmer collects her second straight All-MAAC First Team honor. Vander Weide moves up to the All-MAAC Second Team for the first time in her career after being recognized on last year's All-MAAC Third Team and MAAC All-Championship Team.

- A Preseason All-MAAC First Team recipient this year, Hand leads the team and ranks second in the conference with 18.0 points per game, scoring in double figures in every game this season.
- She also ranks in the top 10 in the MAAC with a .522 field goal percentage (T-2nd), .413 three-point percentage (T-3rd), .872 free throw percentage (2nd), 3.4 assists per game (7th), 1.83 assist/turnover ratio (5th), and 32.9 minutes per game (10th).
- Her 1,976 career points rank second in the Marist record books and ninth all-time in MAAC history.

- Also a Preseason All-MAAC First Team selection ahead of the season, Gilmer boasts a 17.1 points per game average, good for third in the conference.
- She has a team-best 212 made field goals, which places her 18th in the nation, and her .522 shooting clip also puts her in second among her MAAC colleagues.
- In just her third season with the program, the North Easton, Massachusetts product has amassed 1,503 points, becoming the fourth Red Fox ever to reach the 1,500-point plateau.
- Grace Vander Weide
- Vander Weide follows through her Preseason All-MAAC Second Team pick.
- She's currently eighth in Division I with 6.2 assists per game and 181 total assists, pacing the MAAC in both categories. Marist is 21-2 this season when Vander Weide records at least five assists in a game.
- The West Des Moines, Iowa native is averaging career-highs of 11.3 points and 6.9 rebounds as well.
- With the postseason selections, Head Coach Brian Giorgis has now guided 21 All-MAAC First Team honorees and 14 All-MAAC Second Team recipients in his 18 seasons at the helm.
- Marist Women's Basketball vies for its 11th MAAC Championship in program history this week at the 2020 Hercules Tires MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships in Atlantic City, NJ.
