Darren McCormack Named Student Worker Supervisor Of The Year

Marist Associate AD Oversees Approximately 100 Students

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Associate Athletics Director/Facilities & Operations Darren McCormack was named the College's Student Worker Supervisor of the Year.

McCormack oversees a student staff of approximately 100. Their responsibilities include game day jobs, student supervisors, front desk assignments, and athletics operations. The athletics operations staff works closely with operations assistant Randy Strickland.

"It's more of a reflection of the students we have working for us," McCormack said. "They took it upon themselves to nominate me for this. It's evident that we have good students working for the Athletics Department."

McCormack is in his 17th year in the Marist Athletics Department, which covers two stints from 1997-2001, and 2007-present. He returned to the Poughkeepsie campus as Assistant AD/Facilities & Operations in August of 2007, and was promoted to Associate AD three years later.
