POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – This year's winners of the Athletic Director's Award are women's basketball and men's tennis.
 
The Athletic Director's Award has been issued annually since 1990. It is presented annually to the women's and men's teams with the highest cumulative grade-point average.
 
Here are some facts on both programs:
 

Women's Basketball

• Third time the program has won the award, and first time since 1997.
• Nine Red Foxes were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team this season (Sarah Barcello, Allie Best, Willow Duffell, Rebekah Hand, Hannah Hand, Kendall Krick, Claire Oberdorf, Molly Smith, Grace Vander Weide).
• Rebekah Hand was a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection this season.

Men's Tennis

• Wins the honor for the second straight year.
• Has now captured the award 15 times in the 31 years it's been issued.
• Five Red Foxes were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team this season (John Oxner, Lars Schouten, Jack Sequerth, Alexi Watelet, Kian Yazdi).
