POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Women's Basketball (5-1, 3-1 MAAC) returns to McCann Arena for a pair of MAAC matchups against Manhattan (5-3, 5-1 MAAC) on Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th at 5 p.m.

- On Sunday, Marist won 69-50 thanks to a career-high 25 points from Sarah Barcello, career-high 11 assists from Allie Best, and Caitlin Weimar's 11-point, 11-rebound double-double.
- On Monday, the Bobcats beat Marist 59-55 in overtime despite Willow Duffell's 18 points and 17 rebounds, both career-bests. That result snapped Marist's 17-game winning streak dating back to February 1st, 2020.
- Four of Marist's conference series were affected by numerous COVID-19 disruptions throughout the MAAC this week.
- The two games at Fairfield were moved to January 15th and 16th.
- The Red Foxes' home series against Monmouth and Saint Peter's were moved back one day and changed to 2 p.m. tipoff times. The Hawks come to town on Saturday, February 6th and Sunday, February 7th. The Peacocks travel to Poughkeepsie on Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, February 21st.

- On January 3rd against Quinnipiac, she had a career-high 11 assists without a turnover, becoming just the third Red Fox since 2006 to have 10+ assists without a turnover (Grace Vander Weide, all-time assists leader and current head coach at Vermont Alisa Kresge).
- Freshman forward Caitlin Weimar has started every game this year, and is averaging 12 PPG and 7.7 RPG along with 11 blocks.
- She has eclipsed 10-plus points in five of her six games.
