POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist volleyball program will be hosting a Dig Pink match on Saturday when the Red Foxes face Siena at McCann Arena at 1 p.m.
 
Marist will be partnering with the locally based Miles of Hope Foundation to raise awareness and funds in conjunction with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the match, and donations for Miles of Hope will be collected.

The Marist volleyball team, winners of five of its last six, is 11-9 overall and 6-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. Sophomore outside hitter Jordan Newblatt was named AVCA National Player of the Week and MAAC Player of the Week on Tuesday after setting the program record for kills in back-to-back matches last weekend. Senior libero Morgan Owens was named MAAC Libero of the Week for the fourth time this season on Tuesday, and was named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.
