Four Dual Winners Lift Red Foxes Over Colgate

Freund, Reeves, Stureborg, Thompson Each Take First in Two Events

HAMILTON, New York – The Marist women's swimming & diving team earned a 173-124 victory at Colgate on Saturday afternoon.

Highlights

On the day, Marist had four dual winners.
Jessica Freund captured the 100 and 200 breast. She also was part of Marist's winning 400 medley relay. The Red Foxes had 1-2-3 finishers in the 200, and the top two spots in the 100.
Nellie Thompson finished first in the 50 free and 100 free, and was also on the 400 medley relay.
Veronica Stureborg won both the 100 and 200 back. The Red Foxes took the top three spots in the 200 back, and top two in the 100.
Grace Reeves won both the 1- and 3-meter diving events. The Red Foxes had the top three finishers in the 1-meter event.
Jordyn Deubel was victorious in the 200 IM.

The Red Foxes will return to action at the H20unds Invitational, hosted by Loyola.
The two-day event will take place on Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4.
