Men’s Basketball Hosts Navy for First Time

Marist Teaming with VetZero for Veterans Appreciation Game

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball (4-4) will host Navy (6-3) for the first time in program history on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

vs. Navy
  • This is Navy's first trip to Poughkeepsie.
  • In the teams' only previous meeting, Navy defeated Marist 53-51 in overtime on Dec. 7, 2019.
  • Navy is 6-3 on the season, which includes a season-opening win at Virginia. The Midshipmen had won five in a row before a 71-65 loss at George Mason in their last outing on Tuesday.
  • Navy is the third of four Patriot League teams Marist will face this season. The Red Foxes lost at American and at Army earlier this year.
