POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist student-athletes once again had another strong semester in this classroom this past spring.

For the second straight year, all 23 of the Red Foxes' Division I program concluded the school year with a cumulative grade-point average of over 3.0.

Here are some more highlights from this semester:

- The cumulative grade-point average for the Athletics Department was 3.31.
- Volleyball (3.899) had the highest team grade-point average.
- The following teams also earned at least a 3.5 GPA: men's tennis (3.866), women's basketball (3.723), softball (3.633), women's swimming & diving (3.567), women's soccer (3.566), and women's rowing (3.518).
- A total of 39 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
- 51 percent of Marist's student-athletes had at least a 3.5 GPA.
- 75 percent of Marist's student-athletes had at least a 3.0 GPA.
- The following were named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week in the 2021 calendar year: Allie Best (women's basketball), Sam Ahlgrim (men's lacrosse), and Calista Phippen (softball).
- Marist's Student-Athletes of the Month in the 2021 calendar year, named by Marist's Center for Student-Athlete Enhancement:
- January: Kelly George (women's lacrosse), Jacob Abill (football).
- February: Trinasia Kennedy (women's basketball), Dmitrey Guenther (men's rowing).
- March: McKenna Klineyoung (women's rowing), Murray Coueslant (men's swimming & diving).
- April: Kaley Coltrain (softball), Sam Ahlgrim (men's lacrosse).
- May: Gianna Tedeschi (women's cross country/track & field), Paul Olivett (football).
