Marist Plays Final Non-Conference Match Of 2021

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – For the final time in 2021, the Marist women's soccer team will take on a non-conference foe, traveling to Maine for a Sunday matinee with the Black Bears at 1 p.m. on September 12th.

  • The Red Foxes earned their first win of 2021, and first under Head Coach Brittany Kolmel, with a 2-1 triumph over Fordham on September 2nd.
  • Marist scored its first goal of the season when defender Riley Abate smashed a bar-down 18-yard shot from the left corner of the box moments before halftime.
  • With the score 1-1 in the 68th minute, forward Brooke Cergol settled a long pass from defender Deanna Lomino and flicked a shot through the keeper's legs to give the Red Foxes the lead.
