Box Score JERSEY CITY, New Jersey – The Marist women's basketball team dropped its second consecutive contest, this time to the Saint Peter's Peacocks, 58-45, Sunday afternoon at the Run Baby Run Arena. With the loss, the Red Foxes move to 6-12 overall and 4-6 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. The Peacocks move to 8-9 overall and 5-3 in conference.
- The Peacocks jumped out to a 14-9 lead in the first quarter thanks to 4-0 and 6-0 runs at separate points in the period.
- Marist would climb back to within one after a 5-0 run at the start of the second quarter on a three ball by Emma Wax and basket by Zaria Shazer.
- Saint Peter's responded with a 10-2 run that spanned over six minutes to pull ahead by 10. Julianna Bonilla would pull the Red Foxes back to within seven with a three with six seconds remaining in the half.
- Saint Peter's would pull even further ahead in the third quarter with an 11-0 run in the period's first four minutes. Another triple from Bonilla and a steal and score by Trinasia Kennedy cut it back down to 13.
- The Peacocks closed the quarter outscoring Marist 10-6 and took a 17-point, 47-30 lead into the final 10 minutes.
- Marist battled back scoring the first eight points of the fourth but Saint Peter's would regain its footing and trade buckets from there to hold on for the 58-45 victory.

- Marist shot 15-for-58 (.259) from the field against Saint Peter's 19-for-53 (.358).
- The Red Foxes connected on 5-of-their-26 attempts from deep while Saint Peter's hit 6-for-18 from three.
- The Peacocks controlled the boards, outrebounding Marist 45-32.
- Marist would never lead in the game while the Peacock's biggest lead was 19.
- The Red Foxes forced 23 turnovers while giving the ball away 17 times.
- Kendall Krick paced the Red Foxes with a new career-high of 14 points. She was the only Red Fox in double-digits. Kennedy finished with nine points and Bonilla added eight.
- Kendrea Williams led the way for Saint Peter's with 23 points including her 1,000th career point.
