POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist Swimming and Diving team is set to kickoff their 2022-23 season against Canisius Friday, Oct. 14.  The men's team was ranked third in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference  Preseason Coaches' poll while the women's team found themselves ranked fourth.

The Marist Swimming and Diving team named its 2022-23 captains to help lead the team to success this season. The captains are Carson Barry, Adam Kapusta, Tyler Wenzel, Molly Hewett and Veronica Stureborg. 
 

2021-22 SEASON RECAP

• The men's team finished the season with a 3-4 record and placed third in the MAAC.
• The women's team placed fourth and ended with a 4-3 overall record.
• At the MAAC Championships, Ahmed Sallam took home first in the 100 free with a time of 44.04 and the men's team finished second place with a time of 3:18.97 in the 400 medley relay.
• Maddie Healey earned second place in the 500-yard freestyle.
• Grace Reeves had two first place finishes at the MAAC Championships.
