Men’s Soccer Ties Rider

Juleau, Schulman Score in 2-2 Draw

LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey – The Marist men's soccer team had a 2-2 tie at Rider in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match on Saturday night.
 
Summary
  • Samuel Ilin kept the match scoreless with a couple of great saves in the early going, including one on a penalty kick in the 18th minute.
  • Jared Juleau broke the scoreless tie in the 28th minute. Jacob Schulman and Liam Salmon were credited with the assists.
  • Babacar Diene tied the score in the 43rd minute, and the score was tied at one at the half.
  • Schulman put Marist on top in the 53rd minute with a penalty kick.
  • An own goal enabled the Broncs to tie the score in the 62nd minute, and the score ended at 2-2.
