POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist women's soccer team host the Niagara Purple Eagles in their regular season finale on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The game is set to kick-off at 1 p.m. 
 

Last Time Out

• The Marist women's soccer team dropped their second to last conference match of the season to the Rider Broncs 1-0 at Tenney Stadium.
• Both teams were held scoreless in the first half.
• Marist was held scoreless again in the second half.
• Despite a late flurry at goal in the final seconds, Rider kept their lead, beating Marist 1-0.
• Marist led the game in shots with 21, with five of those on net.

 

Scouting Niagara

• Niagara currently stands at third in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings behind Quinnipiac and Fairfield. 
• The Purple Eagles are currently 9-6-1 overall and 6-2-1 in conference play. 
• The offense of the Purple Eagles is lead by graduate student Annie Ibey with six goals. 
• Time in net has been split between the Felicia Grufman and Agnes Stendlund, combined have a total of 57 saves for the season.

• If the Red Foxes take the win against Niagara, and Quinnipiac, Manhattan and Fairfield all win or tie on Wednesday, then Red Foxes will earn the #6 seed for postseason play.
