POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist cross country teams are set to compete in the 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships at the Crossings of Colonie Course in Latham, New York.
The men will have an 8K race at 11 a.m., followed by the women's 6K race at noon.

Marist men and women were both picked fifth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Both the women's and men's teams competed in six regular-season meets.
Ramsey Little led the Red Foxes twice with two record-breaking performances. He placed first overall and broke the Vassar Farms course record with a time of 18:32.6 in the first meet of the season. At the Paul Short Run Little ran the first sub-24 time in the 8k in program history as he finished in 23:34. Little was awarded MAAC Male Runner of the Week twice, on Sept. 7 and Oct. 5.
Chris Paxis also led the Red Foxes twice, Brendan Dearie led once, and Daniel Czop led most recently at the CCSU Mini Meet.
The women were led by their youth all season long. Freshman Nora White was the women's leading runner in the two meets she ran. Freshman Parker O'Brien also led the Red Foxes twice. Sophomore Adele Alexander led once.
The men's team is coming off a seventh-place finish (181 points), while the women placed sixth (133 points).
The men's top returner from last season is Little, who placed 23rd. The women's top returner is Tori Mariano, who was 37th overall.
Last seasons championships were held at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The MAAC Cross Country Championships are traditionally held at Walt Disney World Resorts every four years.
The top 15 finishers in the meet will earn All-MAAC honors.
The top five freshmen will be named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team.
