POUGHKEEPSIE, New York -The Marist volleyball team swept Saint Peter's in three sets on Sunday as the Red Foxes won their third straight match.

Marist was able to cap of irs Senior Day as the Red Foxes were able to prevail by scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-21.
 

Summary

• The Red Foxes got off to a hot start, winning the first set by a score of 25-18. The Red Foxes tallied 15 kills and hit .355.
• In set two the Red Foxes were able to jump out to an early lead and never looked back as the Red Foxes won set two by a score of 25-12. Alyssa White was able to tally four kills and three blocks in the set for Marist. The Red Foxes hit .522 in the set
• In a closely contested set three, Marist was able to close out the match as they won by a score of 25-21.
• Marist outhit Saint Peter's, .333-.106.
• Jordan Newblatt had a team-high eight kills, and tied Jillian Hanna for the team high with 10 digs.
• Prior to the match, Marist honored Gabrielle Heller, McKinley Fox, and Morgan Owens in its Senior Day ceremony.
• The Red Foxes were able to complete the regular season sweep against MAAC opponent Saint Peter's, after having previously defeated the Peacocks on Oct. 1.
• Marist is now 15-10 overall and 11-4 in the MAAC, and is now tied for second place in the conference.
