LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla - The second-seeded Marist volleyball team fell to seventh-seeded Rider in three sets in Thursday's MAAC Championships quarterfinal round match.
Rider prevailed by scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-15.

- Rider scored the first three points of the first set, and the Broncs' lead grew to 14-5. Marist had a 3-0 run late in the set, but the Broncs closed out set one with a 25-15 win.
- In set two, Rider jumped out to a 6-2 lead. Marist tied the score with four straight points, but the Broncos countered with five straight. A 4-0 Marist run closed the Red Foxes' deficit to 23-19, but Rider closed out the set by scoring the final two points.
- Rider scored the first five points of the third set. Marist closed the gap to 17-14, but Rider closed out the set on an 8-1 run to end the match with a 25-15 third set victory.
