POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – A total of nine Marist football players earned All-Pioneer Football League honors from Phil Steele/DraftScout.
Mike Arrington
Arrington led Marist with 93 tackles from the linebacker position. He is a two-year captain, a First Team All-PFL selection by the league's coaches, a First Team Academic All-PFL selection, a national semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy, and a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree.
Clayborne Fields III
Fields was named First Team as both a defensive back and a return specialist. A captain on this year's team, Fields was named First Team All-PFL as a defensive back and Second Team All-PFL by league's coaches. In a victory over Stetson this season, Fields scored two touchdowns in 89 seconds late in the fourth quarter on a punt return and interception return.
Glenmour Leonard-Osbourne
Leonard-Osbourne was honored at the All-Purpose position, where he was selected Second Team by the league's coaches. He tallied a team-leading 1,021 all-purpose yards, with 488 on kickoff returns, 405 rushing, and 128 receiving. He accounted for five touchdowns, with three rushing, one receiving, and one as a kickoff returner.
Aaron Acosta
Acosta was named First Team All-PFL by the league's coaches. A captain, Acosta had a team-leading four-and-a-half sacks. He was second on the Red Foxes with seven-and-a-half stops for loss, and third with 74 total tackles.
Justin Iaccio
Iaccio was named First Team All-PFL by the league's coaches. He handled all of the team's snaps on placekicks and punts and graded out with 100 percent efficiency this season. A CSC Academic All-District selection, Iaccio also saw action at linebacker and totaled 19 tackles with a fumble recovery on punt coverage.
Arthur Pinckney
A two-year captain, Pinckney totaled 64 tackles, five-and-a-half tackles for loss, three pass break-ups, two sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble. He was named Honorable Mention All-PFL by the league's coaches.
Teddy Wright
A captain, Wright was second on the Red Foxes with 92 tackles this season. He also contributed five-and-a-half tackles for loss and a pass break-up. He was named Honorable Mention All-PFL by the league's coaches.
Luke Paladino
Paladino was 12-for-15 on field goal attempts and 25-for-26 on PAT kicks this season. He led the Red Foxes with 61 points scored, and had three field goals of 45 yards or longer. He was named Honorable Mention All-PFL by the league's coaches.
Ethan Parrish
Parrish started all 11 of the Red Foxes' games at left guard this season. He was a leader of an offense line that permitted only 17 sacks this season. He was named Honorable Mention All-PFL by the league's coaches.
