Men’s Basketball Drops MAAC Game at Rider

Red Foxes Rally To Tie Game Late, But Fall in Final Minutes

LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey – The Marist men's basketball team fell at Rider by a score of 77-71 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Thursday night.
 
Summary
  • Isaiah Brickner scored four straight Marist points, and the Red Foxes led 7-5 at the 17:21 mark of the first half.
  • Rider answered with six straight points to take a four-point lead, but a Kam Farris three-pointer tied the game at the 13:03 mark.

  • Harris (13) and Farris (12) gave the Red Foxes three double-digit scorers.
  • Stephane Ingo had a game-high 12 rebounds. Seven came on the offensive end.
  • For Rider, Allen Betrand had a team-high 19 points. Mevin James had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Marist held a 36-32 edge in rebounds.
